Our LINX networking group operates off of a set of bylaws and a few goals for it's members. If you are interested in joining this group, please review the bylaws and goals below and send an email to any of the active group members.

Bylaws: The following list describes the bylaws by which the LINX networking group will operate to keep an efficient and orderly structure. The list can be changed at any time by a majority vote of the members of the LINX networking group.

1. The number of members of the LINX networking group shall not exceed 12 active members when possible. An active member is defined as a member who participates in at least one meeting every 3 meetings and who hosts at least 1 meeting out of every 12 meetings. Any member who does not meet those requirements will not be considered an active member, but rather an associate or participant.
2. Meetings will be held once a month except for the months of January and July and each meeting will be organized by a different member.
3. Two or more members with the same businesses will not be allowed where "same business" means that the majority of services/products offered by both businesses are the same.
4. Active member fees: $20 per year. A member must be considered an active member to be eligible for this fee. See the active member definition in #1 above. This fee includes advertising on the LINX website, lead submittals on the LINX website, and inclusion the LINX marketing brochure.
5. Associate/Participant fees: An associate or participant is defined as a member who participates in the group less than the requirements for an active member but is still interested in being on our mailing list or occasionally participating in our functions. By deafult, an associate or participant will NOT be advertised on the LINX website or listed in the LINX brochure. However, as an associate or participant, you can choose to advertise on the LINX website as well as receive lead submittals through the website by paying a fee of $10 per month or $100 per year to the LINX group.
6. A new member can become an active member after participating in 2 meetings as a guest, receiving board approval and paying required active member fees. To stay an active member, you must follow the criteria outlined above in the definition of an active member. Anyone is welcome to be considered an associate/participant. You just need to show up, express interest, and your business cannot be in direct competition with an active member.

Goals for each member: The following list describes the goals that the LINX networking group would like each member to have. It is understood that these are goals, not requirements, however, the more successful each member is at achieving these goals, the more successful each business will be.

1. Provide at least one referral for every active member per year.
2. During each meeting, every member will be prepared to briefly discuss the following three topics:
• Accomplishments for the past month
• Challenges experienced recently
• Small goal(s) for upcoming month
3. Volunteer time to help in organizational functions required to run this group and help it to be successful and useful to its members.
